Fall 2017 Hours begin   Museum is now open Tuesday, 10 AM to 4PM.  Fall is a great time to visit!

Summer 2017 Children's Program

Tuesdays, 10:30 AM to Noon, July 11th to August 22nd, preregistration is required, 20 children maximum, call 250-342-9769 

or e-mail.  Drop-ins are welcome if fewer than 20 children registered.

Birdhouse babies - see who moved in last summer!


2016 - The squirrel gave up her nursery to a small bird family. 
2014 - The squirrel nursery fell out of the tree!  It has been re-attached but so far, no babies.  Update... the mother built a new nest in the attic of the school house.  We will encourage her to use her original nest next year!
2013 - Mom squirrel has been scouting and housecleaning in preparation for nursery??
2012 - Mom squirrel is back - 2 babies. 

Visit soon to explore heritage buildings, view outside exhibits and enjoy grassy shaded grounds with beautiful views of the beautiful Columbia River and mountains beyond. It is fun and rewarding to volunteer at the museum! Think about it!!
