Location
The Windermere Valley Museum is located at the “Top of the Hill” in the scenic lakeside community of Invermere. Invermere is one of several small communities on the shores of Windermere Lake, in the Columbia Valley, East Kootenays, in southeastern British Columbia.
If driving from Calgary, Golden or Cranbrook, turn west when you reach “the crossroads”, across from Tim Horton’s on Highway 93 / 95. Continue on Athalmer Road, through two traffic lights, up the hill crossing over the railroad tracks and turn right onto the gravel road just past Panorama Drive at the Flags of Canada display.
Our address in Invermere is 222 6th Avenue.
